BOSTON, Mass.- The Emerson College women's lacrosse team suffered a 19-9 loss to Wheaton Wednesday evening at Rotch Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Wheaton clung to a one-goal lead after edging Emerson 3-2 in first-period scoring.
- The Lyons netted five goals while the home side tallied three in the second quarter as Wheaton owned an 8-5 advantage at the half.
- The visitors chalked up six-unanswered goals to end the third quarter sporting a 13-5 lead.
- Wheaton outscored Emerson 5-4 in the final frame to pick up its second-straight league win.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Callie Krosin (Pikesville, Md.) notched a team-best four goals and added one assist.
- Ava DelliCompagni (Coatesville, Pa.) finished with two assists, one goal, and four draw controls.
- Ava Selby (Boonsboro, Md.) posted a pair of goals and one assist.
- Stella Huberlie (Canandaigua, N.Y.) and Laura Lovell (Norwalk, Conn.) each chipped in with one goal and one assist.
- Junior netminder Ellie Spotts (Corona Del Mar, Calif.) recorded 10 saves.
- Emerson fired 28 shots on the night while Wheaton concluded the contest with a season-high 43 shot attempts.
