Records: Lions (5-7) | Bulldogs (2-9)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • Emerson tallied three runs in the bottom of the third to claim a 3-0 advantage. Charlie Coors (Golden, Colo.) crossed the dish on a double-play groundout before Braeden O'Connell (Boxford, Mass.) singled to drive in Nick Hubbe (Chappaqua, N.Y.).
  • Dean got on the board in the fourth inning, scoring once to cut the deficit to 3-1.
  • The Bulldogs produced a pair of runs in the top of the fifth frame to knot the game at 3-3.
  • The Lions manufactured three runs in the sixth inning to regain a three-run lead, 6-3. Charlie Coors (Golden, Colo.) laced a double to right-centerfield to plate Nicholas Favazzo (Lexington, Mass.) and Xavier Hall (Rochester Hills, Mich.). Justin Fields (Glen Ridge, N.J.) scampered home from third base as Nick Hubbe (Chappaqua, N.Y.) reached base on an error.
  • Dean chalked up five runs on just three hits in the eighth to grab an 8-6 edge.
