MILTON, Mass.- The Emerson College women's lacrosse team cruised past Curry 20-9 Saturday afternoon in the first contest of the 2025 campaign.
THE BASICS:

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Both squads scored three goals in the opening frame as Emerson chalked up two goals in the final minute to end the quarter deadlocked at 3-3.
- The Lions tallied five goals in the second period while limiting the Colonels to two goals as they sported an 8-5 advantage at the half.
- Emerson edged Curry 4-2 in third-quarter scoring to hold a 12-7 lead heading to the final frame.
- The visitors poured in eight goals in the fourth and surrendered a pair to the home side en route to capturing their first win of the season.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Callie Krosin (Pikesville, Md.) racked up five goals and three assists.
- Ava DelliCompagni (Coatesville, Md.) netted three goals and dished out six assists.
- Stella Huberlie (Canandaigua, N.Y.) posted four goals in her collegiate debut.
- Ellie Spotts (Corona Del Mar, Calif.) finished with 13 saves in goal for the Lions.
- Emerson generated 45 shots on the afternoon while Curry managed 25 attempts.
