BOSTON, Mass. (November 10, 2025) – Emerson College shot 52-percent from the floor and placed four players in double-figures to post a 78-71 triumph over Endicott College in a key early season non-conference women's basketball test on Hank Smith Court at Bobbi Brown and Steven Plofker Gymnasium tonight.

Sophomore Jessie Silk paced Emerson's four double-figure scorers with a season-high 18 points, aided by a 7-for-9 effort at the free-throw line, with eight rebounds in 22 minutes. Junior Kaylin O'Meara contributed a career-high 16 points on 6-of-11 shooting to go with a career-best nine rebounds, two assists and two blocked shots in 32 minutes off the bench for the Lions. Junior Kendra Dodd buried five of six from three-point range for a season-high 15 points with three rebounds and three assists, while classmate Claire English rounded out the Lions in double figures with a season-high 12 points on 6-of-7 shooting, eight boards and two blocks.

Junior Emma Shinney paced Endicott with a game-high 22 points on 9-of-18 shooting, seven rebounds, four assists and three steals. Sophomore Mia McGarrity made all six shots she took for 12 points, six rebounds and two blocks, while freshman Aleah Bracey added 12 points, five boards and two assists.

Emerson connected on 9-of-11 shots in the third quarter, including 3-for-4 from three-point range, to grab control of the game. The Lions scored 12-straight, capped by a Dodd triple, to open a 12-point cushion (57-45) with two minutes remaining in the quarter as part of a closing 14-3 run to carry an 11-point lead (59-48) into the fourth.

Emerson stretched the lead to 14 (62-48) after an English layup and O'Meara free-throw less than a minute into the fourth. Endicott chipped away and pulled within four (66-62) with 3:33 remaining after scoring nine straight, including the last four by McGarrity. The Lions steadied and O'Meara restored an eight-point lead (73-65) after a layup with 1:09 to go.

Endicott charged back within four (73-69) after four more McGarrity points, but the Gulls got no closer as Emerson sealed the win at the free-throw line in the final 40-seconds.
