WORCESTER, Mass.- The Emerson College women's basketball team notched a 63-51 victory at Worcester State Wednesday afternoon to wrap up the non-conference portion of the 2024-25 slate.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The two teams battled to a 16-16 stalemate through the first quarter of play.
- Emerson rattled off an 8-0 run to grab a double-digit advantage, 33-23, before Worcester State tallied a pair of free throws to trim the halftime margin to 33-25.
- Both teams chalked up 15 points in the third period as the Lions maintained an eight-point lead, 48-40, heading into the final frame.
- The visitors drained 5-of-6 shots from the charity stripe to seal a 63-51 win in the final non-conference tune-up of the season.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Bri Frongillo (Hopedale, Mass.) scored a game-best 22 points while adding four rebounds.
- Charlotte Levison (Atherton, Calif.) tallied 14 points and a team-high seven boards.
- Elise Arnold (Los Angeles, Calif.) netted nine points and grabbed five rebounds while Jessie Silk (Newton, Mass.) added seven points and five boards.
- Emerson concluded the contest with a field-goal percentage of 36.2% while connecting on 4-of-20 from behind the arc.
- Worcester State shot 35.2% from the floor and just 14.3% from the perimeter.
- Katie Hurynowicz paced the Lancers with 16 points and Alana Smith chipped in with 10 points.
