NEWPORT, R.I.- The Emerson College women's basketball team extended its winning-streak to five-consecutive games with an 87-72 victory at Salve Regina Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Emerson raced out to a 31-20 lead after the first frame of action.
- Salve Regina outscored the visitors 17-16 in the second as the Lions controlled a 47-37 advantage at the half.
- Emerson sported a 64-55 lead heading into the final period after the home side held a narrow 18-17 edge in third-quarter scoring.
- The Lions chalked up 23 points in the fourth quarter while the Seahawks managed 17 points as Emerson locked up its fifth victory in a row.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Charlotte Levison (Atherton, Calif.) poured in a career-best 24 points to go with six boards and four steals.
- Kendra Dodd (Tampa, Fla.) tallied 20 points and four rebounds.
- Bri Frongillo (Hopedale, Mass.) finished with 16 points, seven assists, and four rebounds.
- Jessie Silk (Newton, Mass.) posted 13 points, five boards, and four assists.
- Emerson concluded the contest with a field-goal percentage of 50.8% and knocked down 16-of-29 three-point attempts.
- Salve Regina shot 36.1% from the floor and 21.4% from beyond the arc.
- Sofia Neary paced the Seahawks with 20 points while Amanda Folan added 15 points and Briana Neary chipped in with 11 points.
