BABSON PARK, Mass.- The Emerson College men's basketball team suffered a 92-81 setback at Babson Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Babson grabbed a 14-point lead with 13:54 remaining in the first half on a trey from Alex Stoddard, 26-12.
- Emerson clawed back to cut the deficit to 42-38 with 1:12 left to play in the opening frame as Linus Helmhold (Krefeld, Germany) banked in a layup.
- The Beavers clung to a 45-40 edge at the halftime break.
- After the guests trimmed the gap to 45-42 early in the second stanza, the home team rattled off 10 unanswered points to claim a 55-42 advantage with 16:37 on the clock.
- Babson stretched its lead to 18 points with 2:51 to go as Alex Stoddard converted a pair of free throws, 83-65.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Linus Helmhold (Krefeld, Germany) posted a career-best 25 points and grabbed seven rebounds.
- Trevor Arico (Saline, Mich.) poured in 22 points while Lucas Brenner (Miami, Fla.) notched 12 points.
- Emerson finished with a field-goal percentage of 52.7% while draining 8-of-17 from three-point territory.
- Babson shot 47.6% from the floor and 40% from behind the arc.
- Nate Amado scored a game-high 32 points to lead the Beavers while Alex Stoddard netted 18 points.
