BOSTON, Mass.- The Emerson College men's soccer team played to a 1-1 tie against Worcester Polytechnic Institute Saturday afternoon at Rotch Field.
THE BASICS:

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Emerson grabbed an early 1-0 edge in the seventh minute. Dominic Reiter (Pittsburgh, Pa.) headed in his second tally of the season off of a corner kick delivery by Vigo Cassidy (Culver City, Calif.).
- WPI responded with a strike in the 15th minute to level the contest at 1-1. Aaron Vaz rifled a right-footed shot into the back of the net to collect his fourth marker of the year.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Thomas Pelino (San Jose, Calif.) paced the home side with four shot attempts and two shots on frame.
- Sophomore Wylie Jelinek (Brooklyn, N.Y.) finished with six saves in his fifth appearance of the season.
- Emerson concluded the game with 15 shots while WPI generated 13 attempts.
