BIDDEFORD, Maine- The Emerson College women's soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision at the University of New England Wednesday afternoon.
THE BASICS:

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- University of New England bagged a goal in the ninth minute to jump ahead 1-0. Tori Keyes slotted in her team-leading eighth marker of the season.
- The Nor'easters added a score in the 23rd minute to widen the margin to 2-0 as Tori Keyes netted her second tally of the match.
- The home side tacked on its third goal of the game in the 57th minute to stretch the gap to 3-0. Amy Hatfield found the back of the net off of a free kick played into the box by Lizzie Frattaroli.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Yoshiko Slater (Laurel, Md.) recorded a team-high two shots while Emma Brady (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.), Lauren Carlson (Fountain Hills, Ariz.), and Katie Wojcik (North Andover, Mass.) each chipped in with one attempt.
- Hailey Forman (Saratoga, Calif.) made her first collegiate start in goal and finished with five saves.
- Emerson mustered five shots and earned a pair of corner kicks on the afternoon.
- The University of New England racked up 17 shot attempts and five corners in the contest.
