BOSTON, Mass.- The Emerson College men's soccer team absorbed a 2-0 loss to nationally-ranked Tufts Tuesday evening at Rotch Field. The Jumbos entered the match ranked No. 5 in the latest United Soccer Coaches national poll.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Tufts nabbed a 1-0 lead in the 39th minute. Will Nicholas notched his first collegiate goal with a right-footed shot from outside of the box.
- The Jumbos added a goal in the 55th minute to double their advantage to 2-0. Mateo Bargagna collected his first marker of the year, heading in a corner kick served by Liam Gerken.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Theodore Bushara (New York, N.Y.) attempted three shots while Thomas Pelino (San Jose, Calif.) added a pair of attempts.
- Sophomore Wylie Jelinek (Brooklyn, N.Y.) posted six saves in his fourth start of the season.
- Emerson finished the match with eight shots and three corner kicks. Tufts fired 19 shots and earned six corners.
