BRUNSWICK, Maine- The Emerson College women's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision at Bowdoin Friday.

THE BASICS:

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Bowdoin prevailed in the opening set 25-21 to capture a 1-0 lead in the match.
• The home side edged the visitors 25-23 in the second frame to extend its advantage to 2-0.
• The Polar Bears cruised to a 25-12 win in the third to wrap up their sixth-straight victory over the Lions.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

• Brooke Maynez (Las Cruces, N.M.) notched a team-high 11 kills in the match.
• Parker Cummings (Rochester, N.Y.) posted nine kills and seven digs.
• Amelia Combs (Eugene, Ore.) finished with eight kills and nine digs.
• Mia Rodriguez (Palmetto Bay, Fla.) recorded 29 assists.
• Caroline Davis (Orlando, Fla.) racked up a match-best 20 digs while Lauren Yoo (Redondo Beach, Calif.) added 10 digs.
