BOSTON, Mass.- The Emerson College women's volleyball team notched a 3-0 win over Wentworth Tuesday evening at the Bobbi Brown and Steven Plofker Gym.

THE BASICS:

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Emerson claimed the first set 25-16 to secure a 1-0 lead.
• The Lions triumphed 25-19 in the second frame to widen the margin to 2-0.
• Emerson downed Wentworth 25-19 in the third to wrap up the sweep.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

• Amelia Combs (Eugene, Ore.) racked up a match-best 18 kills while adding 11 digs.
• Parker Cummings (Rochester, N.Y.) added 11 kills and Brooke Maynez (Las Cruces, N.M.) chipped in with 10 kills.
• Mia Rodriguez (Palmetto Bay, Fla.) posted 37 assists and 14 digs.
• Caroline Davis (Orlando, Fla.) finished with a team-high 19 digs.
