BOSTON, Mass.- The Emerson College men's soccer team kicked off a stretch of five-consecutive home matches with a 3-0 loss to Rhode Island College Tuesday evening at Rotch Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The two teams battled to a 0-0 stalemate through 45 minutes of action.
- Rhode Island College grabbed a 1-0 lead in the 57th minute. Jackson Fox knocked in a cross from Anthony Recinos to collect his first tally of the year.
- The Anchormen doubled their advantage to 2-0 with a strike in the 61st minute. Sekou Kamara notched his second marker of the year while Alijah Nunes provided the assist.
- The visitors tacked on their third goal of the match in the 79th minute to extend the gap to 3-0. Michael Strain buried his first goal of the fall while Jackson Fox and Izaiah Karweh each chalked up assists.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Thomas Pelino (San Jose, Calif.) fired a team-high six shots while Theodore Bushara (New York, N.Y.) registered four attempts and Sean Connolly (Arlington, Mass.) added three shots.
- Sophomore Wylie Jelinek (Brooklyn, N.Y.) finished with one save in goal.
- Emerson manufactured 18 shots on the night while Rhode Island College produced nine attempts.
