SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. - Women's lacrosse traveled to western Mass on Monday evening for a NEWMAC matchup against Mount Holyoke College. The Lions won 19-18 in overtime, but not without controversy, as an apparent game-winner for Mount Holyoke was overruled by officials and taken off the board.

Maddy Reyes and
Callie Krosin also shined, both tallying three goals and two assists.
The Lions improved to 5-9 (2-7 NEWMAC). Mount Holyoke falls to 1-13 (0-7 NEWMAC).

After almost ten minutes of scoreless action, Mount Holyoke appeared to have broken through with 5:38 remaining. However, the game officials did not immediately rule it a goal. They spent almost 20 minutes conferring before waving the goal off. Reportedly, the scorer's stick was not deemed readily available to the officials for post-goal inspection.
