EAST BOSTON, Mass. - Baseball faced off against Suffolk University on Monday afternoon. The Patriots' Day matchup saw the hosts defeat the Lions by mercy rule, 16-6, as a six-run eighth inning for Suffolk put the finishing touches on the game.
Briggs Loveland notched three RBIs and
Anthony Santosuosso was credited with two. Six Lions recorded hits in the contest.
Emerson falls to 5-18 this season, while Suffolk improves to 15-12.
