Boston, Mass. - Women's lacrosse played host to one of the best teams in the country on Saturday night and the visitors played like it, handing the Lions a 27-3 loss. Emerson moves to 3-6 overall and 0-4 in NEWMAC play while Babson improves to 7-1 overall and 4-0 in NEWMAC play.

- Emerson was outplayed in almost every way during the match: Babson took 30 shots on goal while limiting the Lions to just three; the Beavers were a perfect 8-for-8 on clear attempts while Emerson was 8-for-13; Babson tallied 27 draw controls, while the home team came up with five. The Beavers also went 2-for-2 on free-position shots
- In the first quarter, Babson shut out their hosts and scored 13 goals, with the first 10 coming before the five-minute mark. The Beavers added six in the second quarter, five in the third quarter, and then finally took their feet off the gas with a three-goal fourth quarter. 15 different players scored for Babson in the contest.
