HOW IT HAPPENED

Chase Fagen was the primary offensive force for Emerson, tallying a match-high 11 kills.
Bayden Slavik and
Bryson Beck were credited with ten and seven assists, respectively. Slavik added an ace and four digs to his statline, while Beck led the Lions with seven digs. On the other end of the court, the visiting team had four players tally at least five kills. Lasell was getting it done on the serving line, as Theo Zaharewicz had four aces and Jan Baranowski had three, while Jesus Garcia came up with a match-high 16 assists.
- Lasell was more consistent converting their swings into points, finishing the match with a .370 hitting percentage compared to .072 mark by Emerson. The Lasers attack was consistent as well, converting 35 kills on 75 attempts while committing eight errors. The Lions came up slightly short of matching that clip, converting 23 kills on 69 attacks while commiting 18 errors.
