HOW IT HAPPENED  

• The pitching for Rutgers-Camden held the Lions offense in check for most of the game. Anthony Angelo Jr. Hurled 6 scoreless innings, only allowing 2 hits. 

• Rutgers-Camden found themselves with a comfortable 6-0 lead through 7 innings of play. The Lions got on the board in the top of the 8th inning when Justin Fields plated the first run of the game for the Lions with a sacrifice fly. 

• Emerson threatened in the top of the 9th inning when Chris Ferara drove in 2 runs with a single. 

• The Lions had the tying run on first base in the top of the 9th but could not manufacture a run and Rutgers-Camden secured a 6-4 victory to close out the Lions 2024 Spring Break trip.
