HOW IT HAPPENED: 

• The Lions offense came out strong on their 2024 Spring Break trip as they were led by Lauren Longstreet and Ava Selby who both netted four goals while Ava DelliCompagni and Grace Denehy netted three goals apiece en-route to a 20-16 victory.  

• As a team, the Lions netted 9 goals in the opening quarter, setting the tone for the Lions victory.  

• Their fast start on offense allowed the Lions to keep the lead throughout the game. Norwich made a push in the third quarter; outscoring the Lions 7-4.  

• Despite the late-game push, Norwich was unable to take the lead over the Lions as Ellie Spotts racked up 13 and the Lions defense stayed strong down the stretch to secure a 4-point victory.
