- The Lions were relentless on the attack, scoring 23 goals and never leaving the game in doubt.
- The Lions defense also held strong as a combination of Malcolm McGrath, Connor Nydegger, Elijah Turbow, and Ethan Corby made 10 saves while only giving up 10 goals.
- Matt Denman and Tim Goodfellow both netted two goals apiece for the Monks, but Emerson's attack and defense made this game a runaway for the Lions.
