The Lead: The Emerson Men's Lacrosse team was led by Jack Burns who netted 5 goals while Birk Swan and Nicholas Fulgione both chipped in two goals apiece. The Lions defense, along with Malcolm McGrath, Elijah Turbow, and Connor Nydegger combined in net to record 12 saves for the Lions as they stifled the Emmanuel attack for most of the game.

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• Jack Burns led the attack for the Lions, netting 5 goals while Birk Swan and Nicholas Fulgione both chipped in two goals apiece. Malcolm McGrath, Elijah Turbow, and Connor Nydegger combined in net to record 12 saves for the Lions.
• Fulgione's goal in the first quarter broke the Emerson Men's Lacrosse Program record for goals in a career, with 95 goals scored.
• The Lions defense and goalkeeping kept the Emmanuel attack at bay as the Saints only scored 2 goals through the first three quarters of action, including pitching a shut out in the second quarter.
• The Saints were able to creep back into the game in the fourth frame as they scored 5 goals, but the Lions lead proved to be too much as Emerson secured a 12-7 victory on Wednesday evening.
