The Lead: The Emerson Women's Basketball team was led on offense by Ella Bushee who scored a team-high 23 points and came one rebound short of a double-double as she pulled down 9 rebounds for the game. Charlotte Levison notched a double-double as she scored 13 points and pulled down 12 rebounds. Smith's Jessie Ruffner scored. Game-high 26 points and pulled down 17 rebounds to lead the Pioneers over the Lions, 74-60 on Wednesday evening.

 HOW IT HAPPENED 

• The Lions were led on offense by Ella Bushee who scored a team-high 23 points and came one rebound short of a double-double as she pulled down 9 rebounds for the game. Charlotte Levison notched a double-double as she scored 13 points and pulled down 12 rebounds. Bri Frongillo also scored 11 points for the Lions.
• The Pioneers were led by Jessie Ruffner pouring in a game-high 26 points and pulling down 17 rebounds. Salem Maher also chipped in 15 points for the Pioneers.
• The first half was a back-and-forth battle for both sides as the Lions found themselves on top after the first 20 minutes by a score of 31-29.
• The third and fourth quarter ended up being the deciding factor in this match as the Pioneers were able to outscore the Lions by a score of 45-29 in the final 20 minutes. Ruffner led the charge, scoring 14 points in the final 10 minutes of action, leading the Pioneers to a 14-point victory on Wednesday evening.
