WESTWOOD, Mass.- Graduate student Trevor Arico (Saline, Mich.) of the Emerson College men's basketball team has been named to the New England Women's & Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Offensive Athlete of the Week, announced the league office Monday.

Arico netted a career-high 38 points to propel the Lions past Bridgewater State 101-98. He splashed 8-of-11 attempts from beyond the arc and shot 64.7% from the floor in the contest. Arico also added five rebounds, three steals, and two assists.

This season, Arico leads Emerson with 16.7 points per game to go with 3.2 rebounds per contest.

The Lions sport a 6-3 record on the year and returns to the hardwood December 30 to face UMass Lowell in their second exhibition game of the season.
