BOSTON, Mass.- The Emerson College women's volleyball team claimed a crucial 3-0 win over Salve Regina Saturday afternoon at the Bobbi Brown & Steven Plofker Gym to wrap up the regular season.
THE BASICS:

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The hosts cruised to a 25-12 win in the first set to capture a 1-0 lead in the match.
- Emerson eked out a 25-23 decision in the second frame to extend its margin to 2-0.
- The Lions topped the Seahawks 25-21 in the third to secure their third-straight victory.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Amelia Combs (Eugene, Ore.) notched a match-high 15 kills to go with six digs.
- Parker Cummings (Rochester, N.Y.) posted 10 kills, five digs, and five service aces.
- Brooke Maynez (Las Cruces, N.M.) finished with seven kills and five total blocks.
- Chloe Hokenson (McLean, Va.) recorded 32 assists, eight digs, and three aces.
- Caroline Davis (Orlando, Fla.) chipped in with eight digs and three service aces.
SENIOR DAY CELEBRATION:
Prior to the start of the match, the Emerson women's volleyball program honored seniors Isabella Bowler (San Rafael, Calif.), Amelia Combs (Eugene, Ore.), Parker Cummings (Rochester, N.Y.), and Brooke Maynez (Las Cruces, N.M.).
WIN AND IN:
With the victory Saturday afternoon, Emerson locked up its fifth-consecutive NEWMAC Tournament berth. The Lions grabbed the No. 8 seed and will travel to top-seeded MIT November 12.
