CAMBRIDGE, Mass.- The eighth-seeded Emerson College women's volleyball team suffered a 3-1 setback at top-seeded Massachusetts Institute of Technology Tuesday evening in the NEWMAC Tournament quarterfinals. The Engineers entered the match ranked No. 4 in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association National Poll.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Engineers captured the first set 25-19 to seize a 1-0 lead.
- MIT prevailed 27-25 in the second frame to widen the gap to 2-0.
- Emerson battled back to claim the third set 25-20 to cut the deficit to 2-1.
- The home side rolled to a 25-12 decision in the fourth to secure its 30th-consecutive victory.
