BEVERLY, Mass.- The Emerson College women's basketball team endured a 72-53 loss at Endicott Tuesday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Emerson owned a narrow 16-15 lead through one quarter of play.
- Endicott outscored the Lions 22-17 to hold a 37-33 edge at the half.
- The Gulls pushed their advantage to 56-48 heading into the final frame.
- The home side chalked up 16 points in the fourth quarter while limiting the visitors to five points in the period en route to a 72-53 win.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Claire English (Winchester, Mass.) posted her fifth double-double of the year, scoring 17 points and grabbing 13 rebounds.
- Sofia Canter (Los Angeles, Calif.) tallied 11 points while Jessie Silk (Newton, Mass.) added 10 points.
- Emerson shot 40.8% from the floor and 41.7% from three-point range.
- Endicott finished with a field-goal percentage of 42.2% while draining 9-of-15 from beyond the arc.
- Emma Shinney paced the Gulls with 17 points while Libby Fleming notched a double-double with 13 points and 19 boards.
