BOSTON, Mass.- The Emerson College men's soccer team posted a 3-1 victory over Clark Saturday afternoon at Rotch Field in the final regular-season match.
THE BASICS:

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Emerson raced out to a 1-0 lead, finding the back of the net in sixth fifth minute. Theodore Bushara (New York, N.Y.) blasted in a left-footed strike to notch his team-leading seventh goal of the season while Kyler Maira (Acton, Mass.) registered his second assist.
- The Lions doubled their advantage to 2-0 in the 49th minute. Rohan Edwards (Preston, England) buried his first marker of the year as Dominic Reiter (Pittsburgh, Pa.) collected an assist.
- The hosts tacked on their third goal of the game in the 54th minute, widening the margin to 3-0. Theodore Bushara (New York, N.Y.) slotted home his second tally of the match and eighth of the season while Kyler Maira (Acton, Mass.) chalked up his second assist of the day.
- Clark got on the board in the 68th minute to cut the deficit to 3-1. Ephraim Butson knocked in a corner kick delivered into the box by Colin Ruiz.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Theodore Bushara (New York, N.Y.) fired a season-high 11 shots while Rohan Edwards (Preston, England) and Dominic Reiter (Pittsburgh, Pa.) both attempted a pair of shots.
- Goalkeeper Beckett Hobbs (Issaquah, Wash.) recorded five saves in his seventh-consecutive start.
- Emerson manufactured 20 shots on the afternoon while Clark concluded the contest with 13 attempts.
SENIOR DAY:
Prior to the start of the match, the Emerson men's soccer program honored its five seniors: Emmett Biewald, Ivan Bruce, Theodore Bushara, Anthony Ramlochan, and David Yu.
TICKET PUNCHED:
With Saturday's results across the league, Emerson clinched a NEWMAC Tournament berth. The Lions grabbed the No. 6 seed and will travel to third-seeded Coast Guard November 5 for a quarterfinal matchup.
