SPRINGFIELD, Mass.- Senior Amelia Combs (Eugene, Ore.) became the fifth player in program history to amass 1,000 career kills as the Emerson College women's volleyball team suffered a 3-0 setback at Springfield Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Springfield captured the first set 25-19 to snag a 1-0 advantage.
- The Pride prevailed 25-21 in the second frame to widen the margin to 2-0.
- Springfield rolled to a 25-15 decision in the third to wrap up its second-consecutive victory.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Parker Cummings (Rochester, N.Y.) posted a team-best eight kills to go with two aces.
- Chloe Hokenson (McLean, Va.) finished with 10 assists, seven kills, six digs, and three aces.
- Amelia Combs (Eugene, Ore.) chipped in with five kills while Brooke Maynez (Las Cruces, N.M.) added four kills.
- Caroline Davis (Orlando, Fla.) registered a team-high 11 digs.
