BOSTON, Mass.- The Emerson College women's volleyball team endured a 3-0 loss to nationally-ranked Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Tuesday evening at the Bobbi Brown & Steven Plofker Gym. The Engineers entered the match ranked No. 4 in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) National Poll.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- MIT cruised to a 25-11 win in the opening set to claim a 1-0 lead in the match.
- The Engineers captured the second set 25-17 to double their advantage to 2-0.
- The visitors prevailed 25-16 in the third to remain undefeated on the year.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Parker Cummings (Rochester, N.Y.) posted a team-high nine kills on the night.
- Amelia Combs (Eugene, Ore.) added eight kills and four digs.
- Chloe Hokenson (McLean, Va.) finished with 11 assists, four total blocks, and two service aces.
- Caroline Davis (Orlando, Fla.) tallied a team-best 10 digs.
