BOSTON, Mass.- The Emerson College women's soccer team suffered a 2-1 setback to Clark on Senior Day Saturday afternoon at Rotch Field.
THE BASICS:

Records: Lions (5-6-5, 4-3-2 NEWMAC) | Cougars (4-10-2, 1-6-2 NEWMAC)
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Lions snagged a 1-0 edge in the 57th minute. Maddie Khaw (Portland, Ore.) buried her second goal of the season off of a feed from Alianna West-Rodrigues (Waikoloa, Hawaii).
- Clark answered with a strike in the 78th minute to knot the match at 1-1. Selene Hammad curled in a direct free kick to notch her second marker of the year.
- The Cougars netted the go-ahead goal with less than three seconds remaining in the contest to capture a 2-1 advantage. Sadie Cohen bagged her first career tally as she headed in a corner kick served into the box by Selene Hammad.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Maddie Khaw (Portland, Ore.) racked up a match-high six shots while Linae Bezdek (Frisco, Texas) fired five shot attempts.
- Netminder Amara Schaub (Redondo Beach, Calif.) finished with a pair of saves.
- The Lions generated 16 shots on the afternoon while Clark attempted seven shots.
SENIOR DAY CELEBRATION:
Prior to the match, the Emerson women's soccer program recognized 10 seniors and one graduate student: Emma Brady, Lauren Carlson, Maddie Khaw, Marissa Krenn, Lauren Larking, Amara Schaub, Yoshiko Slater, Anna Swisher, Jillian Venezia, Alianna West-Rodrigues, and Katie Wojcik.
