CAMBRIDGE, Mass.- The Emerson College men's soccer team suffered a 2-1 setback at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- MIT snagged a 1-0 edge in the 25th minute as Shikhar Motupally netted his team-leading seventh goal of the season.
- Emerson pulled even at 1-1 in the 47th minute as Kyler Maira (Acton, Mass.) bagged his first career marker.
- The Engineers reclaimed a one-goal lead in the 54th minute. Shikhar Motupally collected his second tally of the game, finishing off a cross from Adam Snowdon.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Theodore Bushara (New York, N.Y.) fired a team-high three shots while Kyler Maira (Acton, Mass.) registered a pair of attempts.
- Sophomore goalkeeper Beckett Hobbs (Issaquah, Wash.) chalked up a season-best nine saves.
- Emerson produced nine shots on the afternoon while MIT generated 18 attempts.
