- The Beavers struggled from deep as they only converted 3 of 11 attempts from three-point land while shooting 56% (34-61) from the field.
- Babson held a three-point lead after the first 20 minutes, but the Lions quickly took the lead with just over one minutes off the clock in the second half.
- The Beavers retook the lead and extended it to as many as 14-points before the Lions began to chip away.
- With just under four minutes remaining, an and-one from Trevor Arico tied the game and the free throw put the Lions ahead by one. This was the final time the Lions would take the lead as they were able to hold off a late push by the Beavers and secure a 79-75 victory.
