The Lead: The Emerson Women's Soccer team played stellar defense, led by goalkeeper Amara Schaub, but came up short as Endicott scored a late goal to secure a 1-0 victory on Wednesday night at Hempstead Stadium.

First Half
The first 45 minutes of action saw no goals, as both teams displayed strong defensive performances. Emerson managed just one shot during this period, while Endicott notched 14 shots, but Emerson's goalkeeper, Amara Schaub, made six crucial saves to keep the game scoreless at halftime.

Second Half
The second half continued to see Endicott's offensive pressure as they launched nine more shots at Emerson's goal. However, it was the 75th minute when Endicott's G. Klindtworth scored a stunning goal, described as a "crazy shot from the left side over the leap of the keeper," giving Endicott a 1-0 lead. The Lions were unable to find the back of the net in the remaining 15 minutes of action. Endicott's defense, led by goalkeeper Rosalina Caliri, held firm and managed to secure the victory.
