WESTWOOD, Mass. - The NEWMAC (New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference) announced the Men's Basketball 25 Year All-NEWMAC Team in recognition of the historic 25th anniversary season. A total of 15 student-athletes have been recognized from the last 25 years with Emerson basketball graduate, Jarred Houston, being selected to the historic group.
A total of seven institutions were represented by their 15 student-athletes and were named First Team All-Conference at least twice, and/or Player of the Year throughout their collegiate careers. Within the group, 12 were recognized as Players of the Year alongside two Defensive Players of the Year and a total of 14 First-Team selections.
Houston closed out his illustrious career having amassed the 1,000 point and 1,000 rebound milestones within his senior and graduate seasons. The Norwood, Mass. native was also recognized as the NEWMAC Athlete and Defensive Player of the Year in back-to-back years in 2022 and 2023, alongside two All-American accolades.
