The Lead: The Emerson Men's Volleyball team was led by Jake Kelley, Luke Roehm, Bayden Slavik, and Neiko Pittman as they secured two GNAC wins on Saturday afternoon at Pieri Gymnasium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Emerson dominated the first set only committing one error on 20 attempts and racking up 15 kills. Jake Kelley led the charge for the Lions, opening the match with three straight kills. The Lions would go on to win set number one by a score of 25-8.
- Emerson's attack cooled off a little bit in the second set, but they were still able to win by a comfortable margin by a score of 25-11
- The Lions continued this momentum into the third set, as they completed the sweep over Dean by a score of 25-14. With the victory, the Lions secured their first win of the day.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lions continued their stellar play into their second match of the day; raking up 13 total kills on 34 attempts and only committing 3 errors in the first set.
- Neiko Pittman led all players with 19 kills while Luke Roehm racked up 13 kills and Bayden Slavik added 10 kills to go along with 45 assists.
- The Lions won the first set by a score or 25-19.
- The Elms attack played well in the second set; only committing two errors on 44 attempts, but the Lions were able to withstand the pressure and come away with a narrow 25-23 victory and led the match 2-0.
- The third set saw Elms and Emerson trade blows and battle back and forth. Neither team created a substantial lead and ultimately Elms snuck away with a 26-24 set victory.
- The Lions found their rhythm again in the fourth set as Elms tried to push the match to a deciding set. The Lions committed four errors on 35 attempts, racking up 16 kills.
- Pittman and Roehm led the charge for the Lions in the fourth set as Emerson secured the 25-15 victory and a 3-1 match win.
