HOW IT HAPPENEDĀ
SET ONE
The Lions attack struggled in the first set, only converting 10 of their 34 attempts into kills while committing 8 errors. Salve Regia's attack stayed consistent and only committed 4 errors during the set. Both sides strung together scoring runs, but neither side was able to fend of the other side until a late run by Salve Regina proved to be the difference maker. With the Lions ahead 15-14, Salve Regina rattled off four straight points to re-take the lead. The Lions responded but Salve Regina was able to score 7 of the next 9 points that were scored and secure a 25-19 set victory.

SET TWO
The second set saw the momentum swing in favor of Emerson. The Lions had their best attacking set as they only committed two errors on 39 attempts and racking up 12 kills. Salve Regina's attack struggled as they committed 12 errors on 52 attempts with only 13 kills.
Amelia Combs led the Lions attack as they evened the match with a 25-19 set victory.

SET THREE
Salve Regina's attack was strong and consistent in the third set. They committed only two errors on 38 attempts while racking up 18 kills. Despite the strong showing from Slave Regina, the Lions kept the score tight. A Kill by
Parker Cummings gave the Lions a 12-11 lead, but Emerson was unable to capture much momentum after that. Salve Regina scored 5 of the next 6 points, giving them a 16-13 lead. This run would be the deciding run in the set as Salve Regina paced the Lions for the remainder of set three and secured a 25-19 victory.

SET FOUR
With the Lions down 2-1, the Salve Regina attack stayed consistent and again only committed two more errors on 45 attempts. The Lions attack struggled in the fourth set, committing 7 errors on 36 attempts. The fourth set was similar to the previous three as the teams battled back and forth as the scored stayed tight. Ultimately Salve Regina was able to pull away late and secure a 25-19 victory and a 3-1 match win.
