The Lead: The Emerson men's soccer team was led by two goals from Thomas Pelino as they shut-out Westfield State on Tuesday evening. Jorah Delbanco added another goal for the Lions as goalkeeper, Wylie Jelinek kept the Owls off the scoreboard.

First Half
The first half of the match remained goalless, with both teams showing solid defensive efforts. Emerson's goalkeeper, Wylie Jelinek, displayed his skill with five crucial saves during this period.

Second Half:
The second half was a different story, as Emerson came alive offensively. Thomas Pelino opened the scoring for Emerson in the 64th minute, finding the back of the net with a pass from Evan Lee and Emmett Biewald. Pelino added another goal in the 69th minute. These two quick goals gave Emerson a 2-0 lead.
Jorah Delbanco added one more goal for Emerson in the 79th minute, assisted by Theodore Bushara, sealing the victory with a final score of 3-0.
