The Lead: In a defensive battle at Rotch Field on Wednesday evening, one goal in the 16^th minutes was enough for Coast Guard as they were able to keep The Lions off the board and escape with a narrow victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED

1st Half:
16" Coast Guard took the lead as Andres Villasana found the back of the net, assisted by Andrew Ferderer.
-The Bears out-shot the Lions by a score of 9-1 but were only able to find the back of the net once while the Bear's defense kept the Lions scoreless.

2nd Half:
-The Lions won the shooting battle in the second half, outshooting the Bears by a total of 7-4, but still unsuccessful in finding the back of the net.
-The Lions got two scoring opportunities in the 87^th minutes when Evan Lee and Jorah Delbanco fired shots at the net but both were turned away as the Lions dropped their final home game of the season by a score of 1-0.
