The Lead: A late goal from Graduate Skyler Stark Ragsdale was not enough as the Emerson Men's Soccer team fell to Babson 3-1 at Hartwell-Rogers Field in Babson Park on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
14"- Babson opened the scoring in the 14th minute when Ryan Grund found the back of the net on a pass from Ryan Goss. This was Grund's second goal on the season, putting the Beavers ahead 1-0 early in the first half.
40"- The Beavers struck again late in the first half. With just under five minutes remaining in the half, Babson's Shamar Raidford scored his third goal of the season on a pass from Eamon Keenan. The Beavers had a 2-0 lead heading into halftime.
52"- Twelve minutes onto the second half, Babson found the back of the net for the 3rd time. Ross Shellow scored his first goal of the season on a pass from Mitchell Collins. With this goal, the Beavers extended their lead to 3-0 with just over 30 minutes remaining in regulation.
76"- Graduate Skyler Stark Ragsdale broke the scoreless drought for the Lions with just under 15 minutes remaining in regulation. Stark Ragsdale scored for his second goal of the 2022 campaign, cutting into Babson lead; making the score 3-1. This deific proved to be too much for the Lions to overcome as Babson would hold on for the 3-1 victory.
