The Lead: Another strong performance from Jarred Houston who finished with 22 points and 16 rebounds wasn't enough as the Emerson Lions fell 103-93 to the Suffolk Rams at Smith Court on Tuesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Suffolk had a hot shooting half from behind the 3-point line. The Rams were 7-12 (58%) from deep while the Lions struggled to find their rhythm only converting 2-12 (17%) 3-point attempts.
- Suffolk had two players in double figures in the first half (Nate Hale: 14 points & William Rowe 10 points) as the Lions entered halftime down 50-30.
- The Lions found their stroke in the 2nd half as Trevor McLean shot 4-5 from behind the 3-point line as he scored 13 of his 20 points for the game.
- Jarred Houston added 15 of his 22 in the 2nd half while adding 10 rebounds.
- The Lions outscored Suffolk 61-53 in the 2nd half but with Nate Hale scoring 18 of his game high 32 points, the Lions were unable to grab a lead.
- The Rams continued to be efficient from behind the arc shooting 6-10 from deep in the 2nd half to help secure their 103-91 victory.
