The Lead: The Emerson men's soccer team slipped in a 3-0 setback out at Wheaton (Mass.) on Saturday afternoon in NEWMAC men's soccer action at Keefe Field. Freshman Theodore Buschara paced the Lions with three shots while senior RJ Dziejma and freshman Diego Jimenez followed with two.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- For a span of 30 minutes, the scored remained zero on both sides despite Emerson having a key opportunity to get themselves on the board with a penalty kick by Biathrow at the 12 minute mark that was halted by the dive of Medina.
32': After Lloyd sent a quick cross inside the box over to Santoro, Santoro rocketed the 1-0 lead for Wheaton into the bottom righthand corner past Ramer.
70': The Lions managed to hold the host Lyons to one goal through the remainder of the opening frame and deep into the second. In the 70th minute of a 1-0 game, a foul committed by Emerson allowed Wheaton the penalty opportunity, which Stringer capitalized on and put the Lions in a 2-0 hole.
84': A crossed pass to Blackadar from Ferrier with six minutes on the clock gave Wheaton their final goal.
