BOSTON, Mass. - Two games into NEWMAC play, the Emerson men's basketball begins a new week staying local over at MIT on Wednesday and returns home on Saturday for a matinee meeting with Springfield. The Lions trek over to Cambridge for a 7:00 p.m. tip-off on Wednesday and host the Pride in a NEWMAC Semifinal rematch on Saturday at 3:00 p.m.
A LOOK BACK
- Emerson opened NEWMAC play this past week and finished the week going 1-1 as the Lions picked up a home win over Coast Guard before they tripped up out at Clark to wrap the weekend
- The Lions got help from all sides and saw six members of the team register double figures in the score column, including Jack O'Connor (28), Jarred Houston (16), James Beckwith (15), Zach Waterhouse (11) and Trevor McLean and Max Davis (10)

- In Emerson's 1-1 week within the start of NEWMAC action, O'Connor paced the Lions on the stat sheet as he shot 18-of-36 from the field (50%) and connected for 5-of-10 beyond the arc to go alongside 25 combined rebounds, five assists, one steal and two blocks for a total of 53 points.
- O'Connor racked up double-doubles in both contests, starting with 25 points and pulled down a career high 13 boards against Coast Guard (1/8) followed by a 23 point and 12 rebound showing at Clark (1/11).
