The Lead: The Emerson Women's Volleyball Team traveled across Boston to take on Emmanuel Saints on Thursday night. The Lions headed back to Boylston street with a 3-0 victory over the Saints and their second in a row.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lions came out of the gate firing, winning 12 of the first 14 points to take a commanding 12-2 lead, headlined by two kills each from Grace Tepper and Caroline Bond. From here, Emerson was able to control the set, taking the first set 25-16 with the final kill coming from Logan Steenbergen.
- Once again the second set, Emerson jumped out to an early lead, this time at 8-3. Emmanuel was able to keep the set close by cutting the Lions' lead to one at 14-13. Emerson pulled away shortly after, taking the score to 20-16. After a small run by the Saints, the Lions closed out the set with three straight point with kills from Jillian Kay and Tepper, and a service ace by Bond to end the set 25-20.
- Emerso came out in the third set on a commanding 16-3 run behind the serves of Grace Hutchison and Anna Phillips. The Lions didn't let the Saints get close to a comeback, closing out the match 25-11 on a Rebecca Polsky kill.
