HOW IT HAPPENED 

36' Charlie Stringer of Wheaton (Mass.) opened the score in the 36th minute on a pass from Chris Brubaker to give Wheaton a 1-0 lead.

39' Three minutes later, Stringer connected again with a goal into the top left corner, with another assist coming from Brubaker.

57' Emerson got on the board early in the second half, when Gavin Faucette got the Lions on the board after connecting with a through ball from Aidan Ferguson, cutting the Wheaotn (Mass.) lead to one at 2-1.

69' Wheaton scored the final goal of the match on an unassisted goal by Avery Santoro.
