Men's Volleyball Falls to Wentworth, 3-0

Emerson Men's Volleyball lost 3-0 to Wentworth in a tri-match on March 28th. This loss brings Emerson's record to 11-10 overall and 3-7 in the GNAC. Wentworth's record improves to 19-5 overall and 8-2 in the GNAC.

Wentworth started out strong, taking the first set 25-11. Wentworth had 11 kills and only 3 errors that set while Emerson had only 6 kills and 6 errors.
Emerson began to close the gap in the second set raising the score to 25-18. Wentworth raised their kills up to 12 and Emerson raised their kills up to an impressive 11. Emerson's errors that set stayed consistent at 6 while Wentworth's went down to 2.
 

Both teams improved in the third set; the final score was 26-24, Wentworth. Emerson's kills stayed consistent at 11 and they raised their error count up to 8. Wentworth raised both their kills and errors during the set; they got an impressive 15 kills but raised their errors up to 5.

Wentworth's Jake Reed led the match in kills getting 11 overall. Emerson's Jackson Wiley, junior, followed right behind him with 10 overall.
 

Emerson Men's volleyball's next match will be held on March 31st at 7:00pm where they will host Mount Ida College on the home court.
