While the Lions were on their heels at the half the Hawks went off the chain hitting nearly 61% from the floor with John Carroll and Wes Cole combining for 23 points to lead the floor. Michael Thorpe dropped another six in the half while Sean Duffy came off the bench to add six more. The Lions couldn't keep pace in the paint though as the Hawks unleashed 30 points as well as 13 fast break points to roll to the 83-50 final.
