BOSTON, Mass. – Three Lions floored double-digit kills on the night as Juliana Tucker put up her third-highest career assist best with 43 on the night as the Women's Volleyball Team topped Amherst 25-21, 25-21, 14-25 and 25-22. With the win the Lions are now 4-3 on the year as Amherst falls to 2-3.

Set one saw the Lions fire up to fight off seven tie scores and two lead changes with Julianna Augustine dropping four on the Jeffs to lead the Lions. Kat Rice went off as well, hitting .500 in the set for three kills. Juliana Tucker was on point in the set, putting up 11 assists as Emerson battled to a 25-21 win.

Set two saw Emerson scrap again, this time taking the lead and allowing the Jeffs to only tie the score once in the set as Alyssa Thorne and Kat Rice tore it up for EC with four kills each. Two service aces and a block ended up making the difference as well giving the Lions yet another 25-21 win.

Set three saw Amherst fire back on the Lions, swinging a hot .321 in the set as they ripped off to an early lead and never looked back. Attack errors also plagued the Lions as well with six in the set as the Jeffs made it 2-1 with a 25-14 win.

Set four saw the Lions get back to business as Alyssa Thorne and Giuli Frendak went off the chain for five kills each in the set. Tucker fired up another 11 assists in the set while Emerson dropped a .225 average to close it with a 25-22 win.

The Lions hit the home hardwood again this Thursday as they set to host Lasell at Emerson's Brown-Plofker Gym at 7 p.m. in Boston, Mass.
