JR DiSarcina

JR DiSarcina enters his third year as a member of the Lions' coaching staff and primarily works with the infielders and hitters. DiSarcina attended Franklin Pierce before transferring to UMass Dartmouth.

As a member of both the Franklin Pierce and UMass Dartmouth baseball teams, he played 115 games at shortstop and second base. In the summer of 2019, DiSarcina played in the New England Collegiate Baseball League with the Vermont Mountaineers. He finished his college career batting .308 with 139 hits, 52 RBI, and 24 stolen bases.  DiSarcina competed in a regional tournament, a conference championship, and four conference playoffs. 

After college, DiSarcina began his professional career, playing for the High Point Rockers of the Atlantic League in 2021.  He appeared in 71 games his rookie season, driving in 28 runs with five home runs. In 2022, DiSarcina played in the American Association with the Lincoln Salt Dogs and finished the year back in High Point. In the summer of 2023, DiSarcina played in 86 games for the Empire State Greys of the Frontier League. He tallied 80 hits, 10 doubles, six homers, and 33 RBIs with 199 assists and 127 putouts for a .962 fielding percentage. This past summer for the New England Knockouts, DiSarcina played in 92 of the team's 94 games, batting .233, with four homers, 35 RBIs, and had a .953 fielding percentage. 

DiSarcina resides in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
