Jack Fox is entering his first year as pitching coach for the Lions. Fox graduated from Emerson College in 2020 with a degree in the Business of Creative Enterprises. As a player for the Lions, Fox held a 3.01 ERA over 204 innings pitched with a program-record 179 strikeouts. In the summer of 2019, Fox played for the Westfield Starfires of the Futures League of New England, where his 79 strikeouts led the league alongside his 3.24 ERA in 66.2 innings pitched.
After graduating from Emerson, Fox went on to pursue a Masters degree in Business Management, while playing his final year of college baseball at Division II's Lander University in South Carolina. At Lander, Fox earned first team all-conference honors with a league-leading 2.77 ERA with 46 strikeouts over 48.2 innings.
After finishing his season with Lander, Fox began his professional career with the Kane County Cougars of the American Association of Professional Baseball. During his four seasons, Fox held a record of 29-20 in 68 starts and amassed 376 innings with an ERA of 4.19.
In Fox’s 2024 campaign with the Cougars, he tossed seven no-hit, shutout innings in game two of the championship series as Kane County secured it's first championship.
Fox also played in professional baseball leagues for the Melbourne Aces of the Australian Baseball League in 2022, and for the TSG Hawks of the Asian Winter League in Taiwan in 2023.
Fox grew up in Encino, California but has lived all over the world.
