WESTON, Mass. (April 11, 2026) – Springfield College swept singles play to clinch a 7-0 victory over Emerson College in a New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference women's tennis matchup at the Regis College Tennis Courts on Saturday.

- Emerson's No. 1 doubles tandem of sophomore Alisa Pimenova and first year Teah Login notched a win in doubles play for the Lions, topping Springfield's duo of Vettayawaikoon and Peyon, 6-2.
How It Happened
- Springfield won two of the three doubles matches to earn the first point as Gaudreau and sophomore Ava Shea won 6-2 at No. 2 doubles and Jud and Elliot teamed up for a 6-2 win at No. 3.
- Jud followed up her doubles win with a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Emerson sophomore Abigail Miner at No. 3 for the first singles point of the match.
- Gaudreau did not drop a game in her straight sets win at No. 1 singles over Login to draw the Pride within a point of the match win.
- Elliott capped Springfield's double winners and provided the match clinching point with a 6-3, 6-1 decision at No. 4 singles over Pimenova.
